Authorize.Net New Security Certificates

Dharma has hundreds of merchants using the Authorize.Net payment gateway, the largest and most successful e-commerce service in the country, so this message is directed towards those merchants who connect to this gateway using Authorize.Net’s API. Authorize.Net has announced an upgrade, effective September 21st, to new security certificates that use enhanced algorithms and a 2048 bit signature, which will break the connection to the servers if web developers do not re-connect the shopping cart with the new standards (meaning the merchant’s website will cease to accept payments). Merchants can direct their web developers to the Authorize.Net blog for complete information.
