The idea to support the community of humankind is a founding tenet of Dharma Merchant Services
as a central reflection of the meaning of our name, dharma: right intention. This
concept of giving back was not originated by us as we have been inspired by the many companies
who have already come to the realization that change can be better facilitated by the responsible
investment of resources, both monetary and human. We are glad to be a part of this
movement.
To do our part, we donate 10% of gross profits
made from the credit card processing revenue of our merchants.
Each merchant chooses the charity their 10% is donated to.
The donation amount is computed by taking 10% of the total residual payment from
our acquiring bank for every income component, which includes the discount fees, transaction fees,
statement fees, etc. for all Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express sales activity.
To further support non-profts, we offer discounted pricing
